Misty morning tree, Oyster Bay, N.Y.

Last Wednesday we took a group of children, from the school where I teach, to a park on the north shore of Long Island. This tree in the mist of the morning, caught my eye. Roy

Praying Mantis

Taking the children to the playground, behind the school where I work, I looked down and spotted this creature on the grass. It momentarily stopped my world! I placed my open palm in front of him and he walked onto my hand. I took him to this heart shaped leaf just out of harm's way, where he stayed for a long time allowing us to gaze upon his silent presence.

SOME NEW PAINTINGS

Hi, Here are some studies of faces I recently completed. Also a giant sunflower painting that I am working on. I'll show you the finished painting soon. The bottom picture is a large (24"x36") charcoal drawing of clouds. Roy

SOME NEW PAINTINGS

Hi, It's a snowy evening here on Long Island. I thought that it would be a good time to spend in front of my computers and show you some new paintings. Some are new versions of old themes: cats and suns and moons and women and clouds. Enjoy. I'd love to hear from you on this wintry evening. Roy
